I’m Jenn Maling, a REALTOR® & Relocation Specialist in the Oromocto/Fredericton area. Becoming a REALTOR® has been the best decision of my life. After following Derek around the country as a military spouse, I decided to join the Canadian Armed Forces in 2005. It was an excellent career where I met forever friends and had a tour to Afghanistan before releasing in 2014. A whirlwind of 4 postings in 10 years led us to the decision that CFB Gagetown would be our final posting and the place we would plant roots with our 3 boys. I took the leap and pursued a career in real estate. In my first year in real estate, I earned ‘Rookie of the Year New Brunswick’ and I was hooked.

As my business continued to grow, my hubby Derek joined the world of real estate and we formed the Maling Realty Team. Our Team has experienced growth year after year and I’d like to think it’s due to hard work, dedication to our clients, and being involved in our community. We love to give back by sponsoring a number of youth sports teams and clubs. I also volunteer for the Fredericton Kiwanis Club, which undertakes many wonderful initiatives focused on children in our community.

I’m Derek Maling, a REALTOR® in the Oromocto/Fredericton area. After 20 years of service, I released from the military in 2016 and joined my wife, Jenn, in Real Estate. After our second posting to CFB Gagetown, we knew we would end up staying here. We instantly fell in love with the community and the people. I’m a father of 3 boys and over the years due to sports and other activities, we have been actively engaged in the community. Our pledge when we started the Maling Realty Team was to dedicate our lives to serving our client's needs, our community, and making the Real Estate experience more than just a transaction.

With both Jenn and I being former Canadian Armed Forces members, a large part of our clientele consists of military members and their families. When clients hear that we have been through the posting process several times ourselves, while dealing with the sometimes convoluted BGRS policies, it’s a familiarity that only someone who has been through can understand.
